MECC-TRE was founded in Valli del Pasubio (Vi) in 1987 thanks to the entrepreneurial initiative of the spouses Trentin Dino and Francesca.
At the age of forty-four, after a previous entrepreneurial experience at the helm of a manufacturer of saws and miter saws, Trentin Dino dedicated himself to chip removal machining for third parties, initially using only a lathe, a milling machine and
a drill, machines on which however he knows how to work with great skill, having learned to know them already at a young age when he worked as a worker in a mechanical workshop.
Only six months after the birth of the company, the company staff is enriched by the presence of the owners' son, Claudio, fresh from a mechanical engineering diploma.
The company immediately stands out for its reliability and precision and within 15 years it employs about ten employees and a fleet of machines that are immediately at the forefront. In 2003, ISO 9001 certification was obtained with the DNV body.
Both for good administration and for a positive economic phase, the size of the company grows rapidly, making it necessary to have an adequate location.
In 2007 the company moved to a larger production site and, after a series of expansions, from 2018 the production plant of Mecc-tre covers an area of 2700m2 covered, employing about 30 collaborators.
Today at the helm of Mecc-Tre is the second generation represented by Claudio Trentin, CEO and resp. sales manager, Annalisa, purchasing manager and commercial back office and Elena, management engineer, planning manager and coordinator of development
projects.
